The Organizer of Hometextile & Design Gefera Media is holding 4 portfolio exhibitions on the same dates and at the same venue for two years. In parallel with Hometextile & Design took place the following fairs:-      International Trade Fair for Technical Textiles, Nonwovens, Textile Processing and Equipment Technotextil;
-      International Trade Fair for Lighting and Building Services Technology Interlight Russia | Intelligent Building Russia;
-      International Trade Fair of Technologies and Services for Entertainment, Integrated Systems and Musical Instruments Light + Audio Tec.

The synergy of 4 exhibitions resulted in an increase in the number of visitors. The exhibition was attended by 14,178 professionals from 25 countries and 79 regions of Russia.

Textile business chooses Hometextile & Design
The exposition of this year's exhibition was full of Russian and foreign manufacturers. Among the participants: Espocada, Manders, Svetlana Moscow/Bandex, Togas, Amigo, Windeco, Gold Textile, Mollen, Sofi de Marko, Soyuz-M, Uyut, Barkas Teks Group, The Orsha Linen Mill, Finedesign/Tkano, FABRIC CLUB and many others.
For retailers and wholesale buyers who are interested in purchasing, Hometextile & Design turned to be an opportunity to find a wide range of suppliers from Russia, Europe and Asia, ready to cooperate. Producers from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Krasnoyarsk, Tyumen, Altai, Kursk and Bryansk regions, as well as a joint exposition of manufacturers from Ivanovo region demonstrated products made in Russia. Continuing the theme of united pavilions, 23 Turkish companies (12 of which participated for the first time) with the support of the Uludag Textile Exporters Association (UTİB) participated in the national pavilion of Turkey. In addition, the premiere of the year - the Fabric Lab zone brought together manufacturers of furniture, interior and decorative fabrics.

Fringe program and special events of Hometextile & Design 2022 aroused high interest among the visitors
Rich business program and a series of special events were prepared for visitors of Hometextile & Design. Business and Design Lecture Hall, Workshop Area, exhibitor events: Manders Eternal Home and Espocada Trend Week, Textile Designers and Decorators Award, zone of interior solutions Trend Rooms, as well as seminars, exposition tours and master classes - all this was held during the 3 days of the exhibition!
Trends and prospects for the development of the bed linen and home textile market, the transformation of textile retail were discussed in the framework of Business section of fringe program. On the first day of the exhibition, the annual HoReCa & Textile Forum was held, the main topics of which were import substitution, modern concepts in the design of hotels and restaurants, as well as textile trends in the design of HoReCa segment objects.
Special attention was paid to global trends in design, the search for the author's style and inspiration, the main means of expression in textile decoration: prints and ornaments, textures, colors in the Design Section of business program.
For the second year, Hometextile & Design become the venue for Espocada Trend Week. This year the design week celebrates its 10th anniversary. Outstanding Russian and foreign designers shared their experience and knowledge with exhibition visitors throughout the 3 days of Hometextile & Design.
The Hometextile & Design workshop area became the center of attraction for those who wanted not only to listen to tutors from leading design schools and industry experts, but also to become part of practical master classes in sewing, creating moodboards, textile compositions, etc. On the third day, a large block “Materials Science together with manufacturers” was held at the workshop area.
Trend Rooms – conceptual zone that reflects Russian and international trends in textile and interior design.
The global idea and architectural solution of the conceptual zone of trends was developed by Zoya Tee, a designer with 20 years of experience, a specialist in psychology of color perception, colorist and trend analyst. The development of a detailed concept and decoration of the rooms was carried out by textile industry experts: Natalia Samoilova, Svetlana Okulova, Elena Svidlo, Elena Belikova, Olga Filimonova and Anzhelika Dolgacheva. Well-known Russian and foreign brands were presented in each room, including: Espocada, Manders, Uyut, Togas, Svetlana Moscow/Bandex, Gold Textil, Mollen, Treartex, Soyuz-M, Finedesign, TDL Tekstil, The Orsha Linen Mill, Wallstreet and many others.
On September 21, the Ceremony of awarding the winners of the second International Award for textile designers and decorators took place. The Award is intended to support talented textile designers and decorators at the national and international level, to increase the profile of the profession and to encourage innovative ideas in the field of textile decoration. Among the prize partners of the Award: Espocada, Bandex, Star Talk, Skillbox, Union of textile designers and decorators, Kirill Istomin's design studio.
